CONTEST PERIOD: The "Venn $10,000 Giveaway" (the "Contest") will begin at 12:00 a.m. Eastern Time ("ET") on April 30, 2026 and will end at 11:59 p.m. ET on May 30, 2026 (the "Contest Period"). The date and time stamp from the entry form will be the official timekeeping device for this Contest.
ELIGIBILITY: The Contest is open to permanent legal residents of Canada (excluding the province of Quebec) who are 18 years of age or older (or the age of majority in their province or territory of residence), and the owner or authorized representative of a business registered to conduct business in Canada at the time of entry. Employees, contractors, directors, and officers of Venn, and their immediate family members (parents, children, siblings, or spouse, regardless of where they live, or persons living in the same household, whether related or not), are not eligible to participate. The Contest is subject to all applicable federal, provincial, and local laws and regulations and is void wherever restricted or prohibited by law. By entering, Entrants confirm their full and unconditional agreement to, and acceptance of, these Official Rules and the decisions of the Sponsor, which are final and binding in all respects.
HOW TO ENTER: There are two (2) ways to enter the Contest. Regardless of the method used, there is a limit of one (1) entry per Entrant. Method 1 — Existing Venn Client: Existing Venn clients are automatically eligible to enter by maintaining a minimum balance of $1,000 CAD in their Venn account for a period of two (2) consecutive months following the close of the Contest Period. No additional action is required to enter via this method. Method 2 — Free Entry (No Purchase Necessary): Any eligible individual who does not hold a Venn account may enter by completing the official entry form during the Contest Period. The following information must be provided in full: full name, email address, phone number, business name and website, industry and company size, estimated monthly payment volume, how you heard about Venn, and whether you would like to be contacted for a Venn demo (optional). Incomplete entries will not be accepted. Entries submitted by anyone other than the Entrant are void. Use of any automated system to participate is prohibited and may result in disqualification.
WINNER SELECTION: On or about July 6, 2026, one (1) Grand Prize Winner will be randomly selected from among all eligible entries received during the Contest Period. The random draw will be conducted by the Sponsor, whose decisions are final and binding in all respects. Odds of winning depend on the total number of eligible entries received.
SKILL-TESTING QUESTION: As required by Canadian law, the selected potential Grand Prize Winner must correctly answer, without assistance, a time-limited mathematical skill-testing question administered by the Sponsor before the Grand Prize will be awarded. Failure to correctly answer the skill-testing question will result in disqualification and an alternate winner will be selected.
WINNER NOTIFICATION AND PRIZE CLAIMS: The potential Grand Prize Winner will be notified by email within three (3) business days of the draw date. The Sponsor will make two (2) attempts to contact the potential Grand Prize Winner within seven (7) days. If the potential Grand Prize Winner cannot be reached after two (2) attempts, or fails to respond within the required timeframe, the potential Grand Prize Winner will be disqualified and an alternate will be selected. The potential Grand Prize Winner will be required to: (1) correctly answer the skill-testing question; (2) complete and return a Declaration of Eligibility and Liability/Publicity Release within five (5) business days of notification; and (3) for existing Venn clients selected under Method 1, maintain a minimum balance of $1,000 CAD in their Venn account for two (2) consecutive months following the close of the Contest Period.
PRIZE: One (1) Grand Prize of $10,000 CAD will be awarded. The Grand Prize will be deposited directly into the winner's Venn account if they are an existing client, or issued via Interac e-Transfer® or Electronic Funds Transfer (EFT) if they entered via Method 2. The Grand Prize will be awarded within twelve (12) weeks of the Sponsor receiving and verifying all required documentation. The Grand Prize Winner may not assign, transfer, or substitute the Grand Prize. Contest prizes are generally not considered taxable income in Canada; however, the Grand Prize Winner is solely responsible for any applicable taxes, fees, or other costs associated with the receipt or use of the Grand Prize and should consult a tax advisor if in doubt.. No more than one (1) Grand Prize will be awarded.
GENERAL CONDITIONS: By participating, Entrants and the Grand Prize Winner agree to release, discharge, indemnify and hold harmless Venn Software Inc. and its respective officers, directors, employees, representatives, and agents from and against any claims, damages, or liability arising out of participation in the Contest or the acceptance or use of the Grand Prize, including personal injury, death, or property damage. Sponsor reserves the right to cancel, suspend, or modify the Contest if fraud, technical failures, or any other factor beyond Sponsor's reasonable control impairs the integrity or proper conduct of the Contest.
PUBLICITY: By accepting the Grand Prize, the Grand Prize Winner consents to the use of their name, business name, and general likeness by Venn for promotional purposes without further compensation, unless prohibited by law.
PRIVACY: Personal information collected through this Contest will be collected, used, and disclosed in accordance with the Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA) and applicable provincial privacy legislation. Information will be used solely for the purposes of administering the Contest. Entrants who wish to receive Venn marketing communications or be contacted for a product demo must provide separate, express consent as required by Canada's Anti-Spam Legislation (CASL). Opting in to marketing or a demo is entirely optional and has no effect on Contest eligibility or odds of winning. DISPUTES: These Official Rules and the Contest are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada applicable therein. Any disputes arising out of or connected with this Contest shall be resolved in the courts of Ontario.
INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY: All trade-marks, trade names, logos, and other intellectual property used in connection with this Contest are the property of Venn Software Inc. All rights reserved. Unauthorized use is strictly prohibited.
